Indian troops launch CASO in Samba
Jammu: Indian troops have launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in Samba district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was launched on Saturday in Nangal, Chilladanga, Goran, and the adjoining forest areas. The troops carried out intensive searches as part of the operation.
A senior police officer told the media that the CASO was initiated by a joint team of the Indian Army and other paramilitary forces. Indian officials claimed they had received intelligence about suspected movement in the forested region.
The search operation was ongoing when the last reports came in.
