Peace can only be built on justice, not power: Mushaal Malik
Supporting the oppressed people of Kashmir or Palestinian is a duty of humanity
Islamabad: Mushaal Hussain Malik, the wife of illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, has said that true peace can only be established through justice not by force.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a video message, Mushaal Malik questioned the silence of the global community during atrocities in Gaza, Kashmir, and Palestine. “The world often speaks of peace and justice, yet why was humanity silent when bombs rained down on innocent people in Gaza and Kashmir?” she asked.
She pointed out the double standards of global conscience. “Today, when Israeli citizens demand justice, do they remember the cries that rose from the lifeless bodies of Palestinian children? Do they recall the mothers who held their children’s corpses in their arms, weeping in agony?” she said.
She emphasized that standing with the oppressed whether they are Kashmiris or Palestinians is a fundamental human obligation.
“When the scales of justice tilt, peace becomes nothing more than an illusion,” Mushaal Malik stated. She urged people across the world not to remain silent spectators but to stand for truth, justice, and humanity.
She further remarked that the color of blood is the same, whether it flows from a Palestinian or an Israeli. “When Gaza was burning, why did the world remain a silent bystander? The cries of the oppressed transcend religion and nationality they demand justice.”
“Every mother’s grief is the same, every tear in every eye tells the same story,” she concluded.
