DFP slams Israel’s naked aggression on Iran, expresses Kashmiris’ solidarity

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has strongly condemned the Israel’s naked aggression on Iran, saying that Kashmiri people stand in solidarity with their Iranian brothers at this crucial time.

According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, the DFP spokesman, advocate Arshad Iqbal termed the Israeli aggression as a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and other international treaties. He reminded the world that such actions not only pose a threat to world but they were also in clear contravention of the United Nations Charter, which upholds sovereignty and integrity of all nations.

Iqbal demanded the world community to hold Israel accountable for breach of international law, violating Iran’s sovereignty and committing crimes against humanity.

Referring to systematic genocide of Palestinian people, Iqbal said that Israel’s Zionist regime that has shamelessly killed tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians has become a threat to regional peace. Terming Israel as an aggressor, the DFP spokesman said the warmongering regime is hell-bent on destroying peace in the Middle East and beyond. He said that being a sovereign state Iran has every right to defend its territorial integrity.

Meanwhile, the acting chairman of Democratic Freedom Party Mehmood Ahmed Saghar has voiced his grave concern over the escalating tensions in the region and appealed to the United Nations to take notice of this naked aggression and hold Israel accountable for its reckless actions that have brought the region to a brink of catastrophic war.

Saghar expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the Iranian high-ranking officials including the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, army chief and nuclear scientists and innocent civilians in the Israeli attacks. Raising his serious concern over the Israel’s belligerence, he said that Israel’s expansionist designs and settler colonial policies pose a grave threats to the regional peace. He urged the influential world governments to discharge their moral obligations and act swiftly to defuse tension in the Middle East before it’s too late.
