India faces global isolation after humiliating defeat from Pakistan
New Delhi: India has been pushed into global isolation following its humiliating defeat at the hands of Pakistan in Operation Sindhoor and the Modi regime’s subsequent diplomatic failure.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a critical analysis published by The Wire has criticized India’s diplomatic debacle and strategic miscalculations. The report states that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s multi-alliance strategy has failed miserably, with no country coming forward to support New Delhi in the recent standoff. On the contrary, China openly sided with Pakistan during Operation Bunyān Marsūs, providing Islamabad with satellite imagery and vital air defense support.
The analysis further reveals that China even hinted at blocking the flow of water from the Brahmaputra River in response to India’s violations of the Indus Waters Treaty, signaling a serious escalation in regional tensions.
India’s efforts to rally support at the United Nations Security Council also ended in failure. The UN press release on the incident made no mention of the attacking militant group or Pakistan, effectively sidelining India’s narrative. Even India’s claims of military superiority failed to convince the international community, while Pakistan emerged as the dominant force on the battlefield.
The Wire notes that US President Donald Trump’s intervention during the crisis dismantled the Indian media’s war-driven rhetoric. By raising the Kashmir issue on international platforms, Trump lent weight to Pakistan’s position and dampened India’s aspirations of becoming a global power.
The analysis also highlights that both Trump and CENTCOM commander General Michael Kurilla openly praised Pakistan’s leadership. Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, was invited to Washington to strengthen military and strategic cooperation between the two nations.
India’s attempts to diplomatically isolate Pakistan have clearly failed. Instead, international support for Pakistan continues to grow, with even the United States recognizing Islamabad’s role as a key strategic partner.
