Mirwaiz expresses concern over death of Mushtaq Naqash in Srinagar
Srinagar: Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of Mushtaq Ahmad Naqash of Bahuri Mohalla, Srinagar, a long-standing well-wisher and devoted supporter of the Mirwaiz family.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar, remembering the late Mushtaq Ahmad Naqash with great admiration, said he was not only a regular worshipper at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar but, from the time of Shaheed-e-Millat (RA) until his own demise, remained actively involved in religious, social, and community programmes.
He described Mushtaq Ahmad Naqash as a sincere and dedicated worker, noting that such individuals are rare in any society—those who, with honesty and commitment, stay connected to the pulpit and mehrab of the Jamia Masjid, and through this association, enrich both their worldly life and the life to come.
Praying for his forgiveness and a lofty place in Jannah, Mirwaiz visited the bereaved family and offered heartfelt condolences to the Naqash family, especially Ubaid and Ansar (Sons) and prayed for patience and strength to all members in this time of grief.
