Indian forces kill three tribal activists in Jharkhand
Ranchi: Indian forces personnel killed three tribal activists in Jharkhand state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, three activists were killed by Indian forces during a cordon and search operation in Hazaribagh district on Monday morning.
The Indian police, justifying the killing of the three activists, dubbed the victims as CPI-M rebels who are demanding freedom from Brahminical Hindu rule and hegemony.
A senior police officer claimed that the three Maoists, including a prominent leader Sahadev Soren, were killed in an encounter in the Pantitri forest under the Gorhar police station limits.
The search operation is still ongoing, the police officer said.
