Body of abducted two-year-old boy recovered in New Delhi
New Delhi: The body of a two-year-old boy, who was abducted from Khajuri Chowk on Friday evening, has been recovered in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the boy’s body was recovered from a forest area near the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Biharipur, about a kilometer away from the abduction site.
The toddler was bleeding from the head and was lying upside down. Police have suspected that the boy was killed by someone he knew.
Police officials said the identity of the boy has been kept secret as they are also investigating the possible angle of sexual assault.
Meanwhile, the body of a woman was recovered from the Chenab River in Kishtwar district of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Authorities said that Sharifa Begum, a mother of two, had been missing from her village of Kawar Nagasini since September 18.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the woman’s death. KMS—15A
