Mehbooba demands immediate evacuation of Kashmiri students stuck in Iran
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti has demanded immediate evacuation of Kashmiri students stuck in Iran.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehbooba Mufti in a statement issued on X appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure the safe evacuation of Kashmiri students stuck in Iran.
She said the rapidly deteriorating situation in Iran has put thousands of Kashmiri students studying there in distress.
She demanded that Modi personally intervene to facilitate their safe return and urged the Ministry of External Affairs and External Affairs S. Jaishankar to start evacuation efforts at the earliest.
