Court sentences two Kashmiri youths to 14 years imprisonment in IIOJK

Srinagar: A court sentenced two Kashmiri youths to 14 years in jail in a fake case in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the two innocent youth, Mudasir Ahmed Khawaja and Qayoom Ahmed, residents of Bandipora, were arrested by Indian police during a cordon and search operation in a fake case in 2020.

The youth, who are detained in district jail, Kupwara, were awarded fourteen (14) years sentence by the Bandipora court.

The youth were labelled pro-freedom activists and allegedly involved in anti-India activities as per the Indian police FIRs claim.

Pertinently, the courts in IIOJK are fully dominated by non-Kashmiri judges having Hindutva RSS/BJP ideology.
