18 people injured in road accident in Rajouri

Jammu: At least eighteen people were injured, four of them critically, in a road accident in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred when a tempo traveller bearing registration number JK02AG-5946 lost control and plunged into roadside fields at Tralla near Crusher Morh on the Darhal–Rajouri road.
All passengers onboard sustained injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital Rajouri for treatment.
Doctors confirmed that four are in critical condition and have been shifted to a specialised ward for advanced medical care. The hospital administration has put its emergency department on high alert to ensure prompt treatment.
Meanwhile, a four-month-old infant, Mohammad Usman, died while two women were rescued after they slipped into a fast-flowing riverlet while crossing a makeshift wooden bridge in Mughal Maidan area of Kishtwar district. According to reports and locals, the women along with the infant were attempting to cross the riverlet using a temporary bridge made from a large tree trunk when they lost balance and fell into the water.
