Indian police put up notices on houses of Mohammad Yousuf Shah, three others in IIOJK

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the police have put up notices on the relevant places and all prominent places against Mohammad Yousuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin and three others, implementing a court order.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a special court of the notorious Indian investigation agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Srinagar had declared Mohammad Yousuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin and three others as fugitives a few days ago in a decades-old false case. NIA-designated special judge Manjit Rai, while declaring them fugitives, had said that the four were absconding.

Muhammad Yousuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin, Ghulam Nabi Khan, Sher Muhammad and Nasir Yousuf Qadri were declared as absconders in a case registered at the Srinagar police station of the Counter Intelligence Kashmir under the black law of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Ranbir Penal Code and Egress and Internal Movement (Control) Ordinance.

The case was registered on April 5, 1996. The four have been accused in the case of making anti-India speeches and inciting the youth to resist against India. The court has directed the four to appear on or before July 14.

Muhammad Yousuf Shah is a resident of Budgam district, Ghulam Nabi Khan is a resident of Islamabad district, Sher Muhammad is a resident of Bandipora district while Nasir Yousuf Qadri is a resident of Habba Kadal, Srinagar.
