Indian police detain 10 more people in Jammu ahead of Amarnath Yatra

Jammu: Indian Railway Police has detained 10 more people in the Jammu region of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) under the guise of security arrangements for the annual Amarnath Yatra.

According to Kashmir Media Service, four persons were detained from Kathua Railway Station and six others from Jammu Railway Station as part of the so-called preventive security measures ahead of the Hindu pilgrimage, which is scheduled to commence on July 3.

With the latest detentions, the Railway Police Jammu has taken into custody a total of 24 persons from different areas during the last three days under what it described as preventive security measures for the yatra.
