BJP govt using police to intimidate my family: Cockroach Janata Party co-convener

New Delhi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) co-convener Saurav Das has said that police raided his residence and harassed his family, stating that the action was carried out at the behest of the BJP government.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Das wrote on X that police arrived at his family home in Puducherry and questioned his family members extensively. He questioned the purpose of the harassment, asking who had ordered it and whether such action was part of a lawful procedure.

He also questioned why the BJP government in Puducherry was trying to intimidate his family, stating that the action was being carried out on the directions of the BJP-led Indian government. He said such actions would not deter him from his political activities.

“If the aim is to intimidate me into silence, it will not work,” he said, adding that the action would instead strengthen his resolve to work for a better system—one in which police uphold the law rather than act like goons.
