Indian CISF soldier dies after gunshot from his service rifle in Rajasthan

Chittorgarh : A 25-year-old Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) soldier, deployed at the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station in Rawatbhata, Chittorgarh, died today after being hit by a bullet fired from his service rifle.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Rawatbhata SHO Sanjeev Swami said CISF soldier Pramir Sarkar was deployed on duty outside the reactor building on Friday night. Shortly after 4 AM, fellow personnel heard a gunshot and rushed to the spot, where they found him injured. He was taken to the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The body has been kept in the mortuary of the atomic power station hospital and the family has been informed.
Police said the exact cause of death will be established after the post-mortem examination and further investigation.
