Great sacrifices of September 1965 martyrs beacon for nation: APHC-AJK

Islamabad : The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has said that September 6 is a symbol of national determination, unity and bravery in the history of Pakistan.

According to Kashmir Media Service, on this day in 1965, the Pakistani army and the Pakistani nation showed unparalleled patriotism to defend their homeland and crushed the evil intentions of the enemy.

The APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and other leaders said that the martyrs of the homeland created a bright history of protecting the defense, security and sovereignty of Pakistan with their blood, while the courage and sacrifices of the ghazis are a beacon for the coming generations. The entire Pakistani nation pays tribute to its martyrs and heroes and will always remember their sacrifices.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi said the hearts of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir beat with Pakistan and the Kashmiri people have also made unparalleled sacrifices for their freedom, dignity and right to self-determination. He said the relationship between Pakistan and Kashmir is not just geographical or political but it is an ideological relationship, which the Kashmiri people are strengthening through their eternal sacrifices.

He said September 6 gives us the message that nations can face the biggest challenges with their unity, determination and spirit of sacrifice.

The Hurriyat leadership urged the international community to take notice of the serious human rights violations going on in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and play an effective role in giving the Kashmiri people their birthright to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.

Finally, the Hurriyat leadership paid tribute to all the martyrs of September 6 and said the day is not far when Jammu and Kashmir will be liberated from Indian rule and will become a part of Pakistan.
