Affected shopkeepers protest in Jammu, Health employees in Islamabad

Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, shopkeepers of Nai Basti, Jammu, staged a protest against the demolition of their shops by the occupation regime.

The protesting shopkeepers said they have been severely affected by the demolition of their shops and sought financial support to sustain their livelihoods.

The protesters urged the administration to ensure that no affected family is left without support.

In a related development, Congress MLA Ghulam Ahmad Mir joined striking Health employees in Islamabad to express solidarity with them.

Speaking to the protesters, Mir called for addressing the concerns of the employees.

The Health employees have been protesting for regularization of services, enhanced wages and job security.
