Earthquake tremors felt in parts of Kashmir
Srinagar: Earthquake tremors were felt in parts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Afghanistan early Monday, with light tremors felt in parts of the Kashmir Valley, the Centre for Seismology said.
The earthquake occurred at 1:57:24 am IST at a depth of 220 kilometres, with its epicentre located at 36.602°N latitude and 71.084°E longitude in Afghanistan.
The tremors were reported in parts of Kashmir, although details about the intensity of shaking in different areas were not immediately available.
