Pak-Saudi defence agreement to strengthen Kashmiris Palestinians’ freedom movements: Ashrafi

Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has termed the Pakistan-Saudi defence agreement as an important development and said it will have lasting effects and will strengthen the legitimate freedom movements of the Kashmiri and Palestinian people.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Allama Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, talking to a local news channel, praised Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s vision to unite the Islamic world and strengthen its global standing. He highlighted the Crown Prince’s leadership as a guiding force in promoting cooperation and solidarity among Muslim countries.

He said the Pak-Saudi defence agreement will significantly strengthen Muslim unity and strengthen the ongoing struggle for the rights and freedom of the people of Kashmir and Palestine.

He termed the agreement as an important step towards greater unity and solidarity among Islamic countries in support of these legitimate goals. He said the defence agreement will not only enhance Pakistan’s reputation internationally but will also open the doors for more strategic partnerships.

Allama Ashrafi predicted that other countries would also move forward with similar agreements in the coming days, which will further strengthen unity in the Muslim world.

He also praised the warm hospitality of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to Saudi Arabia and termed it a reflection of the deep brotherly relations between the two countries.

Ashrafi said such attitudes further strengthen mutual respect and trust, which paves the way for strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Responding to a question, he said the Indian media is in turmoil while the Pak-Saudi agreement is a demonstration of a powerful alliance that has worried Israel. He said this agreement will be helpful in ensuring the Kashmiris’ freedom.
