Kashmiri delegation protests in Geneva against HR violation by India in IIOJK
Geneva: A Kashmiri delegation, hailing from both sides of Line of Control (LoC), held a protest demonstration in Geneva against the human rights violations by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation organised the protest demonstration on the sidelines of the 60th UN Human Rights Council session highlighting the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory.
The protesters were holding banners and placards with anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, urging the international community and the United Nations to help stop Indian brutalities in IIOJK and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the Word Bodies’ resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
They also urged the international human rights organisations to put pressure on India to halt its state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and settle the Kashmir dispute so that permanent peace could be established in the region.
