CJP launches India-wide drive from August 15 to revamp village govt schools
New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced an India-wide campaign to improve government schools in villages, calling on parents and village heads to audit and upgrade basic facilities.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the campaign will be launched on August 15 and is being termed as a “Sarpanch Challenge”. Under it, the CJP has appealed to sarpanches across India to improve government schools in their villages and has promised to publicly recognize those who do so.
In a video message from his village Hingoli in Maharashtra, Dipke said that government schools in villages have been the most neglected in the last 80 years of independence. He said children in villages still have to walk long distances to schools which often lack drinking water, toilets and electricity.”On this 15th August, if we should make a new start, we should start by improving our government schools,” Dipke said, adding that the schooling of children of farmers and labourers should not be ignored.
As part of the campaign, the CJP has urged parents to conduct social audits of schools to check for electricity, clean drinking water, functional washrooms and mid-day meals. The party will also issue a printable audit form for citizens to submit reports and video evidence to contact@cockroachjantaparty.org.
Dipke said the aim is to ensure village children have access to facilities comparable to those in cities. “Real India lives in villages,” he said.
