Indian police file charge-sheet against four youth in IIOJK

Srinagar: Indian police have filed a charge-sheet against four Kashmiri youth, including three detainees, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The charge-sheet was filed in connection with an April 19, 2022, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near Jagalanoo Bridge, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kandi in Rajouri district, in which two non-local labourers were injured.
An Indian police official said the charge-sheet was filed in an FIR against three arrested persons — Talib Hussain Shah, Muhammad Sadiq and Muhammad Shabir, residents of Draj, Rajouri — as well as an absconder, Muhammad Qasim.
The three arrested persons have been booked under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Explosive Substances Act (ESA).
Indian police have claimed that the detained youth were involved in what they described as anti-India activities and had conspired to carry out the IED blast beneath Jagalanoo Bridge, resulting in injuries to two non-local labourers.
Such cases against Kashmiri youth by Indian forces and agencies are fabricated and aimed at justifying their illegal detention and suppressing pro-freedom sentiments in the occupied territory.
