Srinagar, January 09 (KMS): Hurriyat organizations have strongly condemned India\u2019s adoption of Israeli settler-colonial tactics in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the Modi regime is orchestrating land grabs, demographic changes, and apartheid-like policies to suppress the territory\u2019s freedom movement.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a series of statements issued in Srinagar, Hurriyat organizations highlighted how India\u2019s occupation of IIOJK increasingly mirrors Israel\u2019s oppressive strategies in Palestine. They said India and Israel are coordinating their occupation agendas to fortify their respective illegal occupations.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Modi regime is blatantly following the Israeli playbook by grabbing land and properties under various pretexts to settle non-locals in IIOJK. This is a clear attempt to displace Kashmiris and alter the region\u2019s demography,\u201d said Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n
Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party said, \u201cThe land grabs in IIOJK reflect the Modi government\u2019s colonial mindset, aiming to suppress the Kashmiri people by systematically depriving them of their land and resources, similar to Israel\u2019s displacement of Palestinians.\u201d<\/p>\n
Other organizations also denounced India\u2019s collaboration with Israel, calling it a dangerous alliance that threatens global stability and human rights. \u201cThe joint military agenda between India and Israel, along with their apartheid crimes against Muslims, poses a grave threat to peace and justice worldwide,\u201d said Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League.<\/p>\n
The party added, \u201cThe Modi government\u2019s plan to change the demographic character of IIOJK is directly inspired by Israel\u2019s model of occupation. These actions are part of a larger Hindutva-Zionist agenda aimed at erasing the Muslim identity of Kashmir and Palestine.\u201d<\/p>\n
The organizations pointed out that Modi\u2019s policies emulate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s approach to crushing the Palestinian freedom struggle. \u201cThe Modi regime\u2019s actions in IIOJK, including property seizures and demographic manipulation, are a stark reflection of Israel\u2019s apartheid policies in occupied Palestine.\u201d<\/p>\n
The parties urged the international community, including the United Nations and human rights organizations, to intervene and hold India accountable for its violations of international law in IIOJK. They warned that the silence of global powers would only embolden India and Israel to continue their oppressive tactics, escalating instability in both regions.<\/p>\n
