The horrifying trend has amplified demands for immediate intervention to prevent further loss of lives and address the systemic healthcare challenges in the district.<\/p>\n<p>The Rajouri district administration issued an order imposing strict restrictions, including a ban on public and private gatherings, the establishment of containment zones, and enhanced monitoring of food and water supplies for affected families. However, critics have pointed out that the measures appear reactive and delayed, with lives already lost due to the authorities\u2019 lack of proactive response.<\/p>\n<p>Affected individuals have been shifted to Government Medical College, Rajouri, for close observation. &#8220;All public and private gatherings are hereby prohibited within the jurisdiction of these containment zones to prevent further spread of the infection,&#8221; the order stated.<\/p>\n<p>To enforce the restrictions, additional Indian police and paramilitary forces\u2019 personnel have been deployed in the village, effectively placing it under lockdown.
