\"\"Islamabad, January 23 (KMS): The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) will observe the martyrdom anniversary of renowned Kashmiri liberation leader Muhammad Maqbool Butt with devotion and respect.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, India had sent Muhammad Maqbool Butt to the gallows in New Delhi\u2019s infamous Tihar jail on February 11, 1984 for his role in Kashmir freedom movement and buried his body in the premises of jail.<\/p>\n

The JKLF central spokesperson in a statement issued in Islamabad said a grand tribute will be paid to the martyred leader on his martyrdom anniversary.<\/p>\n

He said on February 11, various programmes will be organized in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as around the world, especially in the UK, US, Europe and Gulf countries and the demand for the return of the bodies of Maqbool Butt Shaheed and Afzal Guru Shaheed, buried in the premises of New Delhi\u2019s Tihar Jail, to the Kashmiris will be reiterated.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson further said India’s celebration of Republic Day in occupied Jammu and Kashmir is nothing but a joke aimed at hoodwinking the world. He said India has deployed one million forces’ personnel in the occupied territory and imprisoned thousands of Kashmiris, including freedom-loving leaders.<\/p>\n

He said India has no moral right to celebrate its Republic Day as it has banned the JKLF and other freedom-loving organizations and is trying to suppress the voice of the Kashmiris through black laws, but Kashmiris are determined to continue their freedom movement till taking it to its logical conclusion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
