Jammu: Various public delegations from Reasi, Akhnoor, Udhampur, and Jammu districts met with National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, expressing their concerns about long-pending issues exacerbated by the absence of an active elected government in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Farooq Abdullah while interacting with the delegation members who called on him at his residence in Jammu admitted that the restoration of IIOJK\u2019s statehood is crucial for development and ensuring good governance in the territory.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that a democratically elected government would be better positioned to address the sufferings of the people. He said that the restoration of statehood, along with a responsible administration, would provide relief to the masses and facilitate equitable development.<\/p>\n

National Conference\u2019s Provincial President for Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta, was also present during the interaction.<\/p>\n
