New Delhi: Newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ravinder Singh Negi has threatened to demolish the properties of a Muslim man in New Delhi using a bulldozer.<\/p>\n
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ravinder Singh Negi, who is notorious for targeting Muslims and their businesses, posted a video on his social media threatening to use a bulldozer (JCB) to demolish the property of Abdul Raheem. He also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, and BJP chief JP Nadda in the post.<\/p>\n
Negi known for targeting Muslims and their businesses, posted the video on Thursday, where he was flanked by a crowd, including police officers. In the video, Negi said, \u201cYou must vacate the land, or else big action will be taken. You will be trapped in this action for your whole life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Negi alleged that the land belongs to the government and threatened to demolish the property with a bulldozer, claiming it is owned by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).<\/p>\n
Negi\u2019s actions have come under heavy criticism for targeting the poor, especially so soon after he was elected as an MLA.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe BJP MLA considers himself above the law. It hasn\u2019t even been a week since he became an MLA, and he is already using BJP\u2019s hooliganism. If this laborer’s name is Abdul, don\u2019t be happy. They will not spare anyone \u2013 not Amit, not Sumit, not Gurdeep, and not Abdul. They will show their hooliganism towards the poor and destroy them with bulldozers!\u201d said journalist Zakir Tiyagi.<\/p>\n
A social media user, Shami, commented, \u201cWhen such individuals become leaders and MLAs, they make life difficult for the poor. If the leader is Islamophobic and the poor person is Muslim, it adds to the problem. When goons do politics, only hatred will increase in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n
