Bhopal: A Muslim youth was assaulted and dragged to the ground by a Hindutva mob in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh state of India after being accused of love jihad.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, identified as Syed Khan from arrived in District Court Bhopal to register their marriage legally under the Special Marriage Act. However, the mob comprising members of the Hindutva organizations violently assaulted Syed Khan.<\/p>\n

The attackers accused Ahmed of engaging in Love Jihad, a conspiracy theory claiming Muslim men lure Hindu women into marriage to convert them to Islam.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Khan despite clear evidence of the assault. In front of the cameras, the woman confirmed that she had come willingly for the marriage.<\/p>\n

The incident highlights the growing concerns about violence against interfaith couples in India, particularly those involving Muslim men and Hindu women.<\/p>\n
