Srinagar,: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has paid glowing tribute to the prominent Hurriyat leader, Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad Bulla, on his 50th martyrdom anniversary.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Bulla was arrested by Indian police in February 1975 for leading a protest rally against the Indira-Abdullah Accord. On February 15, 1975, he was martyred in Central Jail Srinagar after being brutally tortured.<\/p>\n

During a meeting in Srinagar, APHC leaders and organizations paid their respects to the martyred leader, calling him a courageous and fearless member of Kashmiris\u2019 freedom movement, whose unwavering spirit of resistance inspired many. They emphasized that Bulla remained steadfast in his pursuit of truth and justice, never bowing to the tyranny of Indian authorities, even in the final moments of his life. The meeting acknowledged the countless sacrifices made by Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom, affirming that these sacrifices would one day bear fruit.<\/p>\n

The participants also stated that while India is attempting to suppress Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle with brute force, it will never succeed in its nefarious plans. They expressed grave concern over India’s efforts to alter the demographic composition of IIOJK, particularly by reducing the Muslim majority to a minority, urging the international community, including the United Nations, OIC, and European Union, to take immediate notice of this situation.<\/p>\n

The meeting also called on the global community to exert pressure on India to end its atrocities against innocent Kashmiris, release political prisoners, and resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.<\/p>\n

\"\"Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum has put up new posters in different part of the occupied territory, expressing gratitued for the recent statement by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir. In his remarks, General Asim Munir paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs, asserting that Pakistan has already fought three wars for Kashmir and, if required, will fight ten more. The COAS reaffirmed, \u201cKashmir was, is, and always will be a part of Pakistan.”<\/p>\n
