Taking to micro-blogging site X , Tarigami said that Omar Abdullah claimed that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar refused to draft Art. 370 is a blatant distortion of historical facts. Nowhere in Ambedkar\u2019s extensive writings, including his book Pakistan or the Partition of India, is there any mention of such a refusal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCredit for drafting Art. 370 goes to Gopalaswami Ayyangar, who was part of 7 member drafting committee that formulated the Indian Constitution,\u201d he said on X.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArticle 370 of the Constitution of India was introduced in the Constituent Assembly on October 17, 1949. It was adopted as Article 306A. Additionally, his claims about the FDI do not align with the ground reality,\u201d Tarigami added on X.
