According to Kashmir Media Service, Shafqat Mohammad, a British politician of Kashmiri descent, became a member of the British House of Lords recently. Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued from Brussels stated that Lord Shafqat Mohammad’s contributions in raising the Kashmir issue at the international level, particularly within influential European circles, are highly commendable.<\/p>\n
Ali Raza stated that, previously, as a member of the European Parliament, Lord Shafqat Mohammad had played a key role in raising awareness about the Kashmir issue, especially regarding the human rights of people in the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
Ali Raza Syed emphasized that Lord Shafqat Mohammad’s commitment to justice and human rights serves as an inspiration to others.
