Shimla: Former Congress MLA Bamber Thakur was injured when he was shot at by unidentified assailants at his residence in Himachal Pradesh, India.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred when Bamber Thakur and others were present in the courtyard of his wife\u2019s government residence in Bilaspur. His personal security officer (PSO) was also injured in the attack.<\/p>\n

Police officials stated that the attackers fired 12 rounds. Thakur, who suffered a bullet injury to his leg, was referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla, while his personal security officer was admitted to AIIMS, Bilaspur.<\/p>\n
