Bras\u00edlia: In yet another diplomatic blow, India faced fresh humiliation at the BRICS meeting on Sunday where its attempts to drag Pakistan into the Pahalgam episode fell flat, once again.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, despite lobbying to push its narrative, the BRICS forum\u2014like QUAD and SCO before it\u2014refused to endorse New Delhi\u2019s claims, exposing India\u2019s growing isolation in its propaganda campaign against Pakistan.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s efforts to internationally isolate Pakistan over the April 22 Pahalgam attack have faced successive setbacks, with major global forums including BRICS, QUAD, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) either refusing to name Pakistan or completely ignoring New Delhi\u2019s narrative. The pattern of omission marks a significant diplomatic embarrassment for India.<\/p>\n

However, the BRICS Summit condemned the April 22 Pahalgam attack that left 26 civilians dead, but didn\u2019t mention Pakistan despite insistence by India.<\/p>\n

This is exactly what happened at the Quad Foreign Ministers\u2019 meeting on July 2 \u2014 that it condemned the Pahalgam massacre but did not name Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The original BRICS group gathered leaders from Brazil, Russia, India and China at its first summit in 2009. The bloc later added South Africa and last year included Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as members.
