According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar, expressing serious concern over the might policy and curbing rights of people, including ban on 13th July Naqshband sahab march by Bharatiya Janata Party regime in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, urged the world community to take notice of the dire situation in the territory.<\/p>\n
He said India\u2019s dreaded agencies like National Investigation Agency (NIA), State Investigation Agency (SIA) and Special Investigation Unit (SIU) are conducting frequent house raids and searches under black laws and implicating them in fake cases. These agencies are meant to intimidate those who refuse to toe the BJP\u2019s line in IIOJK, he added.<\/p>\n
He said people, including Hurriyat leadership, in the territory are being put behind the bars for no crime other than their political beliefs. He said India cannot suppress the Kashmiris\u2019 struggle for securing their inalienable right to self-determination by arresting innocent people and other tactics in IOJK.<\/p>\n
The spokesman said that the United Nations had recognized Jammu and Kashmir as a political dispute to be resolved according to its resolutions, adding that tripartite talks involving India, Pakistan and the genuine Kashmiri leadership would ease the way for settlement of the Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n
He also appealed to the world community to play its role in settling the dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris\u2019 aspirations and help release all Kashmiris, including Hurriyat leaders and activists, languishing in different Indian and IOJK jails.<\/p>\n
