Police claimed that Irfan was affiliated with the banned pro-freedom group, the Muslim League, and said that the operation was in connection with a case registered under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Irfan has been held in illegal detention for the last four years.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, police seized house documents, bank records, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
