He said Saudi Arabia has 2,379, while Nepal has 1,357 Indian prisoners.<\/p>\n<p>Other countries where Indian prisoners are held include Qatar 795, Malaysia 308, Kuwait 342, the United Kingdom 323, Bahrain 261, Pakistan 246 and China 183.<\/p>\n<p>There are also some countries where only one Indian citizen is imprisoned, including Angola, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Egypt, Iraq, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tajikistan, Yemen and some other countries.<\/p>\n<p>Out of a total of 10,574 prisoners worldwide, 43 have been sentenced to death. The highest number of them is in the UAE 21, Saudi Arabia 7, China 4, Indonesia 3 and Kuwait 2.
