Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that problems can never be resolved through war, violence, or the use of force, rather, the path to peace and prosperity lies in dialogue.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing the Friday congregation at Srinagar\u2019s historic Jamia Masjid today, Mirwaiz referred to the recent heated debate in the Indian Parliament on the India-Pakistan war following the Pahalgam incident. He said members of both the government and opposition expressed their views on the success or failure of war. However, only a few \u2014 mostly from the opposition \u2014 highlighted the human cost of war, especially in the context of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Among those voices, he said, were three Kashmiri MPs \u2014 Mian Altaf Ahmad, Engineer Rashid, and Agha Ruhullah Mehdi \u2014 who openly spoke about the pain, disempowerment, and suffering of the people of IIOJK.<\/p>\n

Mirwaiz said that the sentiments expressed by these Kashmiri lawmakers resonate with the collective feelings of all Kashmiris. He expressed hope that those in power in New Delhi will take serious note of these heartfelt concerns and not ignore them.
