He has asked questions to Indian rulers in his column.

He said, “Is the Indian Parliament expected to believe this unrealistic story? Who believes this unrealistic story? Who is fooling whom with Operation Mahadev? Where is the independent forensic evidence of the Pahalgam incident? Who tries to escape with weapons, sweets and identifiable items?”

He said, “The mastermind was killed on the day when Operation Sindoor was to be discussed in the Indian Parliament after a long wait: is this a coincidence?” With such perfect timing, who can say that the evidence was not erased? Wasn’t this a scene like a TV serial, where a police inspector enters someone’s house and orders his deputy, “Hawaldar, recover the weapons?” From Pulwama to Uri, who has been punished for intelligence failures so far?

Bharat Bhushan writes, “Dead people say nothing, they become silent forever, the truth dies with them.” Now only the government’s story survives. Controversial politics have made it difficult to believe the facts. Such “confrontations” after the attack undermine the credibility of India’s counter-terrorism story. “Mastermind” or fool? Who keeps their identifiable items with them? The killings in Dachigam will apparently cure public shock, but will protect the real culprits. Forensic, intelligence evidence will never be released. The opposition hesitates to ask questions so as not to be labeled as treasonous. The media remains silent for fear of advertising revenue or access.

Masterminds and trainers are mentioned without any legal process. There is no possibility of judicial oversight from the killings and the government gives a new twist to the story that is not true. The killings save those who are responsible for intelligence failures. People remain ignorant of the real threats and policies. Unclear security objectives block the discussion on alternatives.

After these questions from Bharat Bhushan, do Modi and his fanatical followers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and Ajit Doval have anything left to say? These are questions not asked by us but by India’s leading journalist to its rulers, on which Modi will not think, but the Indian people should definitely think about how long a fanatic and a fascist party will continue to breathe life into their political dead bodies in their name.

New Delhi: India’s renowned and leading journalist Bharat Bhushan has deflated “Operation Mahadev” by calling it an unrealistic story.
