According to Kashmir Media Service, the certificate was awarded during an event held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Qureshi commended Ali Raza Syed\u2019s efforts in highlighting the Kashmir dispute, particularly his work in raising awareness about the rights of Kashmiris across Europe. In response, Ali Raza Syed expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the struggle for Kashmir\u2019s just cause.<\/p>\n
Ali Raza Syed also addressed an event held in connection with Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir organized by the Pakistani Embassy in Paris and participated in a webinar hosted by the Pakistani Embassy in Germany.<\/p>\n
The KCEU Chairman also met Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, ambassador of Pakistan to France, and discussed the matters related to Kashmir.<\/p>\n
During his speech, Ali Raza Syed deplored India\u2019s unilateral actions\u2014particularly the revocation of Articles 370 and 35A\u2014as a violation of international law and global norms.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that India had promised Kashmiris the right to self-determination decades ago but later denied that commitment by revoking Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s special status. He stated that India\u2019s illegal measures aim to erase Kashmiri identity and legitimize its illegal occupation.<\/p>\n
Ali Raza Syed highlighted the prolonged military lockdown, arbitrary detentions and human rights abuses in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He also pointed to enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and the harassment of women, while noting that international human rights organizations and media remain barred from the occupied territory.<\/p>\n
The Chairman of Kashmir Council EU also denounced India\u2019s demographic changes in occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a breach of the Geneva Conventions and called upon the European Union and United Nations to intervene.<\/p>\n
He urged the international community to put pressure on India to grant Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination and ensure a peaceful, just resolution to the Kashmir dispute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
