According to Kashmir Media Service, Rahul Gandhi addressing a Press conference in New Delhi raised serious concerns over the credibility of the voter rolls and the conduct of recent elections. He said, \u201cAre the right people allowed to vote? Is the voter list even accurate? There\u2019s growing suspicion among the public, and for good reason.\u201d<\/p>\n
He pointed to alleged inconsistencies between opinion polls, internal party surveys, and actual results \u2014 particularly in states like Haryana and Madhya Pradesh \u2014 suggesting that the outcomes were \u201cchoreographed.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Congress leader questioned why voter turnout saw \u201cmassive spikes after 5PM,\u201d despite little to no queues at polling booths in Maharashtra.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe election process now runs for months, and that alone raises suspicion. In Maharashtra, more voters were added in five months (referring to the time period between Lok Sabha and Maharashtra Assembly elections) \u2014 more than in five years. How is that possible?\u201d Rahul Gandhi said.<\/p>\n
Citing the 2024 Lok Sabha and subsequent state elections, Rahul Gandhi highlighted what he termed an \u201cabsurd contrast.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe won big in Lok Sabha in Maharashtra but were wiped out in Assembly polls just months later. And between those elections, one crore new voters appeared. We asked the EC for explanations, but they remained silent,\u201d the Congress leader pointed out.<\/p>\n
