\"\"New Delhi: An Arab media report has revealed that in India, so-called bulldozer justice is being used to demolish homes, shops, and properties belonging mainly to Muslims under the pretext of anti-encroachment operations.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the report highlighted that across several Indian states, homes and businesses of Muslims and marginalized communities are being targeted in these demolition campaigns, despite the Indian Supreme Court having already declared such actions unconstitutional and illegal. Critics state that bulldozer actions have effectively become a tool to single out Muslims and other minorities.<\/p>\n

While the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and state governments claim the demolitions are aimed at removing illegal encroachments, international media point out that last year the Indian Supreme Court termed the practice of razing houses before proving charges or guilt as unlawful and a violation of human rights.
