His prison memoir \u201cR\u016bdad-i-Qafas\u201d (Story of the Cage) remains a powerful diary of interrogation and oppression, serving as nourishment for those who have achieved freedom and as oxygen for those still committed to it. His \u201cNav\u0101-yi-Hurriyat\u201d (Voice of Hurriyat) compiles letters, interviews, and columns reflecting his multidimensional role in Kashmir\u2019s freedom struggle. His \u201cD\u012bd o Shun\u012bd\u201d (Acquaintance) provides lucid, logical responses to the difficult questions posed by critics and interlocutors alike. In total, he authored over 22 books and pamphlets, creating a legacy of uncompromising resistance.<\/p>\n
Syed Ali Shah Gilani was not merely a political figure\u2014he was an ideologue, a visionary who recognized the significance of Pakistan\u2019s engagement in the Kashmir issue and who never succumbed to India\u2019s tactics of bilateralism.
