\"\"Islamabad: Speakers at a conference in Islamabad, today, paid tributes to veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, for his services and sacrifices in the Kashmiris\u2019 ongoing struggle for right to self-determination.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organised the conference on the 4th martyrdom anniversary of Syed Ali Gilani at Kashmir House in Islamabad.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the Parliamentary Kashmir Committee Rana Qasim Noon, AJK Minister Chaudhary Rashid, AJK Minister Imtiyaz Naseem, Farzana Yaqoob, former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq, APHC AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed AJK Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami, Nafees Zakaria former Ambassador, Syed Nazir Gilani, Wilson Wazir, former KP Assembly member, Hurriyat members, political and social activists attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\"\"The speakers on the occasion paid glowing tributes to Syed Ali Gilani for his valuable services regarding the freedom of Kashmir and Islam and for sticking to his right-based stance till the last breath of his life.<\/p>\n

They threw light on various aspects of Gilani’s life. In the conference, while reiterating the determination to continue the struggle under the guidance of Shaheed Gilani, they said the United Nations Security Council resolutions will be of primary importance for achieving the right to self-determination and no other formula will be accepted for settling the dispute.<\/p>\n

The speakers said there will be no compromise on the right to self-determination and the main focus will be on it.<\/p>\n

The speakers praised the stance of Syed Ali Gilani on his accession of Kashmir to Pakistan, Ham Pakistani hai , Pakistan hamara hai. They appealed to the international human rights organizations to take notice of the plight of Kashmiri political detainees.<\/p>\n

At the end of the conference, prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of Ali Gilani and all the martyrs of occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
