\"\"Srinagar: Several families have been shifted to safer places from low-lying areas of Sopore area of Baramulla district as a precautionary measure due to rising water levels in Wular Lake and Jhelum River in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, however, officials said there is no flood-related situation in the district at present.<\/p>\n

Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla Manga Sherpa, who visited Sopore and adjoining belt to assess the ground situation, said the administration is closely monitoring the situation.<\/p>\n

He said although the water level is below the danger mark, the next two to three days are very crucial as Wular Lake is very close to the danger mark.<\/p>\n

He added that flood control teams had been mobilized to strengthen the embankments.<\/p>\n
