These draconian laws enforced by the Indian government have empowered its forces to use brutal force against innocent Kashmiris with impunity to suppress their demand for freedom.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-183228\" src=\"https:\/\/kmsnews.org\/kms\/assets\/2025\/09\/zzz.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"376\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thousands of Kashmiris are languishing in Indian prisons and IIOJK jails under these black laws, while nearly one lakh Kashmiris have been targeted with bullets, pellets, PAVA and teargas shells by Indian forces since 1989 in the territory.<\/p>\n<p>Human rights groups have consistently raised their voice against these black laws, while civil society has also urged the world community to speak up for Kashmiris\u2019 rights and compel India to restore all their basic human rights.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar: The New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) has raided several houses in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
