Srinagar: The administration in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has once again placed All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest in Srinagar and did not allow him to offer Friday prayers at the Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq wrote on the social networking site \u201cX\u201d \u201cI have been placed under house arrest and have not been allowed to offer congregational prayers at the Jamia Masjid, which is a clear interference in religious matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

He wrote, \u201cA Majlis Rahmatul-l-Alameen was also to be held in the Jamia Masjid, in which many respected scholars were to participate. Our human and political rights have been taken away. There is also continuous interference in our religious affairs.
