Srinagar: Indian forces\u2019 personnel have launched large-scale cordon and search operations across multiple areas of Baramulla district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, the joint operations cover dense forests in the Gulmarg area along the Line of Control (LoC) and around 35 villages in the Kandi-Sultanpora belt. Troops from the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group (SOG) are participating in the CASOs with support from drones, canine units and surveillance gear. .<\/p>\n

A senior Indian official told the media that operations were intense and massive. \u201cThe operation is going on in the upper reaches\u2014dense forests along the Line of Control in the Gulmarg sector,\u201d the official said. \u201cAt the same time, operations are underway in 35 villages of Kandi-Sultanpora. These are comprehensive cordon-and-search operations (CASO) involving ground teams, drones, and canine units,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
