\"\"New Delhi: The President of Jamaiat Ulema-e-Hind, Maulana Arshad Madani, has welcomed the suspension of some provisions of the controversial Waqf Amendment Act by the Indian Supreme Court and vowed that the legal and democratic struggle will continue until the repeal of this black law.<\/p>\n

According to Kashmir Media Service, Maulana Arshad Madani in a post on social media platform X expressed satisfaction over the Supreme Court\u2019s decision and said the Supreme Court has put a stop to 3 important controversial provisions of the Waqf Act.<\/p>\n

He termed the Waqf Amendment Act as a direct attack on the Constitution of India, under which all citizens and minorities not only have the right to equality but also have been guaranteed complete religious freedom.<\/p>\n

Arshad Madani said this law is a conspiracy to snatch away the religious freedom of Muslims and we are confident that the Supreme Court will abolish this black law and provide us complete constitutional justice.<\/p>\n

He vowed that Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind will continue its legal and democratic struggle until this black law is completely repealed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
