According to Kashmir Media Service, the posters displayed by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other pro-freedom organisations read: \u201cRecently, at the Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar, proud Kashmiris rejected the BJP\u2019s interference by breaking the anti-Islamic inauguration plaque installed by the BJP-controlled Waqf Board. The act of placing a symbol associated with idol-worship \u2014 representative of Hindu beliefs \u2014 at a sacred Islamic shrine is seen as a direct attack on the fundamental Islamic belief in monotheism (Tawheed).\u201d<\/p>\n
The posters said the controversial installation of Hindu idol-worship symbols was orchestrated by the RSS\/BJP through their representative, Darakhshan Andrabi, and that Kashmiris have firmly rejected this imposition and all other anti-Islamic actions.<\/p>\n
They pointed out that placing the Ashoka emblem and Hindu religious symbols inside a sacred Islamic site is viewed as an assault on faith and religious freedom.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe BJP and RSS regimes are pushing a Hindutva-driven agenda aimed at imposing their ideology in Kashmir, conspiring against the Kashmiri people. It is imperative that religious scholars unite and come to the forefront to resist and defeat the anti-Kashmir and anti-Islamic agenda of the BJP regime in occupied Kashmir,\u201d the posters added.<\/p>\n
Expressing concern over silence, the posters stressed: \u201cThe youth carry a crucial responsibility \u2014 they must unite and rise to protect Kashmir from the BJP government\u2019s Hindutva plans.\u201d<\/p>\n
The posters said no one has the right to interfere in another\u2019s religion or impose their beliefs on others, but the RSS\/BJP government is forcefully imposing its Hindutva ideology in Kashmir and attempting to alter the deeply rooted religious identity of the Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n
