According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said this is the first missile test of its kind conducted from a specially designed rail-based mobile launcher.<\/p>\n

He said this launcher is capable of operating on the rail network without any prior preparation, which can be taken and used anywhere in the country in a short time. He further said the missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers and has many modern features.<\/p>\n
