According to Kashmir Media Service, in a post on X, Mirwaiz said the 20-point peace plan announced by US President Donald Trump to end the ongoing war in Gaza was a welcome step as it aimed at halting the bloodshed and what he described as the \u201cgenocide of Palestinians.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe people of Palestine need a fair resolution that guarantees justice, dignity, and freedom,\u201d Mirwaiz said, expressing hope that the plan would serve as a beginning towards sustainable peace grounded in international law and human rights.<\/p>\n
